Redecoration of Living Room in Georgian House ( Zoffany Perfect White and Quarter Silver)
Painting of stunning drawing room in a Georgian property in Bath with Zoffany paint
21/06/2020
We recently undertook work for a regular customer in her 18th Century Georgian town house in the centre of Bath. The entire house has been renovated to an extremely high standard, with paint stripped from the cornices and from the stonework on the staircase and plasterboard walls removed to reveal a plethora of original period features such as wedding doors between the front and rear drawing rooms.
The customer is an interior designer and has used her expertise to design a stunning colour scheme, with Zoffany ‘Perfect White’ matt emulsion being used on the ceilings, Zoffany ‘Quarter Silver’ matt emulsion on the walls and ‘Perfect White’ eggshell on the woodwork. The colours perfectly compliment the soft furnishings and pictures and chandelier and work extremely well in this historic context.
As part of our work, the glazing bars to the window frames were re-painted as they were starting to look tired and we filled various holes in the walls after pictures were moved and re-painted these areas.
